Brenda

Warm Bows to everyone,

I will be joining the Afterglow Hot Yoga family and taking yall through a relaxed Yin Yoga sequence where the body, mind, and soul come together in a unique experience of new feelings and sensations that open us to the expression of our true authentic and highest self.

I had an amazing experience as a division 1 women’s soccer collegiate player and that is where I fell in love with yoga. I had a couple of surgeries and a life changing experience through the beautiful, graceful, and mindful practice.
My professional background is in the legal field. I worked as a paralegal for 4 years and got the chance to work for the Honorable Judge Ben Hardin in the Brazoria, Wharton and Matagorda 23rd Judicial Court District. I have a passion for my community and their education on legal and holistic matters.
I have practiced zazen and intensive meditative practices in the Soto Zen community at the Houston Zen Center for 3 years.

I am a member of the Third Eye Tribe where our mission is to create and keep building a more conscious community through Shamanic Breathwork. I have practiced the Wim Hof Method for 6 years. Through mindfulness and yoga I have felt the healing power of showing up, experiencing without expectation, and the transformation the breath brings.

The mindful Yoga community it is so powerful and the exchange of the collective energy only helps one another grow and that is where all the healing and medicine resides. There is no judgment only love and space held for one another to move and flow with no expectations of doing it right but to just feel alright and connected to self and community. You become free through the yoga practice as you experience the connection of the body, mind and soul.

“I AM standing on my own altar. The poses are my prayers.”
